Sleep solutions brand The Sleep Company has appointed Gaurav Shah as its chief financial officer (CFO).
With a distinguished 18-year career as a Chartered Accountant, Shah will play a crucial role in aligning stakeholders with the organization’s goals to enhance financial performance and efficiency, the company said in a press release.
The company highlighted that Shah’s primary focus will be on driving EBITDA and prioritizing the improvement of gross margins. Additionally, he is tasked with ensuring the organization evolves into a world-class, process-driven entity.
Prior to joining The Sleep Company, Shah served as CFO for Wellness Forever in India, achieving significant milestones such as filing DRHP with SEBI for Wellness Forever’s IPO and securing SEBI clearance.
His notable contributions extend to being a core founding team member for Tata Starbucks in India in 2012, where he played a pivotal role in building the company over a four-year period.
